Calling all GenX Women!

Recently, we have seen a surge in engagement and support amongst GenX women on Threads. :) I was reading so many interesting and inspiring stories from women from around the world and kept thinking "I want to meet these women! How amazing would it be to be friends?!" :)

So I put out invitations to a couple of virtual coffee chats, and ended up with a few dozen women during two meetups!

We decided to continue to get together and chat on a monthly basis!

What is the purpose?

To meet and connect with like-minded women! Foster friendships, collaboration and support. Who knows where it could take us?

If you'd like to join us, just drop your email below and I will send you a zoom link for our next chat.

Warmly,

P.S. Here are just a few of the amazing testimonials I received after our first GenX Virtual Coffee Chats:

I loved it! It felt like home. ~ Stephanie

Very powerful stuff. I thought I had my own crazy things I've been through, but hearing other women speak about their experiences, particularly the health related challenges that some of them had faced, made me a little more humble. You never know what someone else could be going through. We all need to be more kind to each other in this world. ~ Shelly

Thank you so much for gathering us!! I really love being in a room full of peers going through the same things and being incredibly supportive. It was a very safe space. ~ Caren

I have been trying to remove social media from my day-to-day; however, I continued to be drawn back to Threads and the conversations that Gen X women ( and some men). Who would have thought that something as amazing as the Zoom get-together would happen and bring the group of us together. ~ Sarah

I was impressed by Amy’s idea to create a Zoom gathering for GenX women. Facilitating a virtual event like that with women who are showing up with diverse experience and goals isn’t easy, but she was prepared with a clear agenda that kept the conversation flowing, along with thoughtful icebreakers that helped everyone feel comfortable. She created space for all of us to share without pressure, striking a thoughtful balance between inclusion and respect for personal boundaries. Her style is open, frank, and personable, and she puts people at ease. It was clear she’s skilled at building bridges. ~Jenifer
